Our Process

We believe the purpose of our work is to make spaces more effective, efficient and satisfying for those that occupy them. To ensure we achieve this goal, we start our work with a thorough understanding of our client's needs, requirements, preferences and budget and from there, our work blossoms.

Understanding Needs

Prospective clients complete a Nest Project Survey to brainstorm and communicate needs, wants and budget. A complimentary Initial Meeting is scheduled, ideally in the project space, to ensure all parties are a good fit. A ‘Scope of Service’ document outlining deliverables and consulting fees is agreed upon.

Programming

Designs are cultivated, reviewed, honed and finalized for best fit for the space/s. Financials are reviewed and agree upon.

implementation

The design comes to life. Nest can interface with our preferred labor resources or your own.

Angelee Marques

Principal Designer

Angelee Marques founded Nest Interior Decor in September of 2013 with the belief that a comforting home leads to a productive life.

Angelee has a BBA in Finance from James Madison University and a Certificate in Interior Design from NVCC. She held a variety of roles prior to founding her firm from Project Manager in the corporate space to Stay at Home Mom to Cooperative Preschool President to Interior Decor Sales, all have which shaped and grown her into who she is today. Angelee loves to explore new places and gains inspiration for her work from the world around her.

Angelee lives in Loudoun County, Virginia with her husband, two busy teenagers and newest addition, Olive, their mixed breed pup.
