Nest was founded out of the joy and belief that our living environment greatly affects the success of our lives. If our spaces are effective, efficient, comfortable and pleasing, there is nothing stopping us from having a productive and satisfying life, both inside and outside of the home.

Angelee Marques

Angelee’s passion for design stretches as far back as her memories take her. From a very young age, Angelee was pursuing design projects in her friends and families home, complete with paint, wallpaper and detailed trim work (her obsession with trim has not languished). As she matured, so have her decorating projects, becoming bigger, bolder and more refined with each experience. Angelee founded Nest Interior Decor to pursue and share her passion for design with the world.

Angelee holds a BBA in Finance, a Certificate in Interior Decorating and has taken numerous professional courses throughout her career. Prior to founding Nest, Angelee held various professional roles across an array of industries from Financial and Business Analyst (working with design in a totally different way) to Project Manager, Consultant, Conference Planner, Full-time Mom, Fundraiser, Cooperative Pre-school President, Window Treatment Designer and always and forever, Interior Decorator. Her varied experience has honed her communication, management and organization skills and today, she continues to grow by exposing herself to everything design related.

Angelee is fortunate to have the love and support of her family who has always shown and encouraged her to try new things, be entrepreneurial, and pursue her dreams.

Angelee lives with her husband and two beautiful children in Loudoun County, Virginia.
